Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum inc.,

The Weavers Barn at the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum is a 4,000 square foot facility where we house and use over 50 looms as well as many of the related tools needed to turn fiber into cloth, including spinning wheels and carders, warping boards and swifts, and bobbin winders and shuttles. We are a working museum with more than 95% of our exhibits operational.

Our volunteers meet on Thursdays and most Saturdays throughout the year, and at special events like the Fiber Arts Fiesta the first weekend in October, and the Spring and Fall Tractor Shows. They are delighted to donate their time and talent to support the museum with weaving, spinning, needle felting, and other fiber arts, and to share their knowledge with visitors and the community.

Our Museum Spinners and Weavers are also Members of the Palomar Handweavers Guild at AGSEM, founded in 1952 with a rich tradition of its members producing beautiful clothing, accessories, rugs, and household items which have won numerous awards.
