Above right: Byron Whitehead takes a soda break. October 08, 2005. Below left setting up for our Geggie Wedding   October 10, 2005. below right: floor plywood installed.

David Denny photos. October 10, 2005. Above left and right: Tom Bakalar and Keith Richards. Below left: Keith Richards, Patrick Myers, Richard Green. Below right: Betty Keylon in golf cart. Tom Bakalar and Keith Richards on deck.

Greg Hayden photos. September 29, 2006. Above left and right, and, below left: (left to right) Volunteers Gary Pollard, Walter Britton and Chief Weaver Bill Rafnel, spray the second of two coats of Urethane on our new Weavers Loom Barn walls.

October 7, 2006: Bob Morley Work Weekend. Up there above right, Paul Smith brought our Bucyrus crawler over to help install the buildings two main door headers. That is Virgil White standing there with the Pepsi. Above left: hoisting the west header into place. Bob Morley told me he went and got the lumber to make the headers. Each is made of two bolted together, 2-1/2 inch thick x 14 inches wide x 14 feet long hunks of HEAVY lumber. 6.35 centimeters (cm) thick x 35.56 centimeters (cm) wide x 4.267 meters (m) long. Above right, (left to right) Myrna Bagge and Sharon (Mrs Virgil) White dragged chairs over from SER. That is David Denny in his golf cart. Below left: Kent Graham on the ladder on the left, Keith Richards below him. Jim Goode on the ladder to the right, Virgil White below him. Below right: Kent Graham.

Above left: Paul Smith with his Work Face on. Pauls Illinois Family were in the Dirt Business. Paul began to operate equipment like this before he was age 10. And continued to do it for 40 years. Here Paul is 'walking' our Bucyrus from the west side to the east side of our new 100 feet long -- 30.48 meters (m) -- Weavers Loom Barn. Paul was really concentrating as we had the International Order of Alhambra Ben Ziri Caravan #218 Group in, that had a LOT of young children. Here is what Ben Ziri Caravan #218 has to say about Our Museum. A group of our Volunteers were standing on the perimeter, waving folks who approached away, but you know how kids can dart. Above right and below left: Hoisting the east header into place. Below right: Kent Graham again.

Above left: Eric McConnon, recently turned 14, and he began to Volunteer at Our Place at age 1-1/2. Erics favorites are our Steam Tractors and Gas Engine Row but, really, Eric likes EVERYTHING we have. Above right: Paul Smith. That is an unrestored Skinner two cylinder steam engine behind Paul. Below left: Kent Grahams front and Keith Richards back. Below right: Myrna Bagge. I split Sharon White in two, so moved a little to take another pic. Just as I did Paul Smith walked into the frame. Below, below left.
