The three weeks between January 17th and
February 7th our Museum Volunteers Patrick Myers, Tom Bakalar, Keith Richards, Richard Green, and, perhaps others? Drilled the
holes and poured the steel reinforced concrete footings to support our new stage. A long piece of stout steel pipe was cast within each.
Tom Garrison took these pictures.

Note the
Amish wooden pegs that hold the structure together. Lower right:
A few promotional pictures were taken for
United Rentals who donated the use of this stout long reach lift truck.

Chicken Thief in a skit presented by our Museum Players, during our parade each show day. (Scroll down) Above right and below left:
The next day, February 8th Museum Volunteer Don Blasingame welds the stage steel base plates, to the cast in place steel pipes.
Below left and right: Live-on Attendant Keith Richards, one of the crew who built the concrete and steel foundation,
pronounced it kind of small, but a nice drive thru tractor barn.
