Museum educator Ms. Whimplewort introduces children to country living in the early 1900's through games,
crafts & stories. The program runs from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Admission is $7.00 per student with a
minimum of 15 and a maximum of 30 students per day. This program is also available in your classroom.
A reservation & a deposit are required.
Cooking with Ms. Whimplewort. Learn about the busy activities that take place in the Farmhouse,
and of course while you are here you might as well try a little cooking for yourself.
This program takes place in our Museum Farmhouse amid the duties of children & family members;
and old fashion recipes. The program is offered year around for a 3-hour time block.
Cost is $150.00 minimum for up to 15 students. Each additional student up to a maximum of 25 is $10.00.
We ask for one adult per every five children and only grade levels 3 and up.
A reservation & a deposit are required.
Christmas on the Farm. Come and celebrate an Old Fashion Christmas with us. Students will hear
where some of their favorite Christmas traditions began, and compare a farmers holiday to their own.
Students will be able to make a couple of gifts for their family to place under their Christmas
tree for Christmas morning. This program is offered November-December for a 3-hour time slot.
Cost is $120.00 for up to 15 students and $8.00 for each additional student up to a maximum of 25.
A reservation & a deposit are required.
