Jerry Hass of     provides the following eight Blue Grass at the Flower Fields pictures and captions.

Top left: From the top of the flower fields you can see the ocean, and forever! Top right: Jim May is one of eighty-five Museum Volunteer tractor drivers, who take you through the Carlsbad flower fields, that overlook Palomar Airport Road and Interstate 5. Lower left: You are greeted by this display at the end of the Flower Fields tractor ride. Lower right: Like all of our 85 Museum Volunteer tractor drivers, before getting on to a tractor, Jim May inspects it for safe running conditions.

Top left: Time to board the antique tractor drawn hay wagon for a spectacular view of the Flower Fields. Top right: Thanks to Bob Morley & maintenance crew there are always enough tractors available to provide Flower Field rides for all with very little wait. Lower left: Bluegrass is alive at the flower fields. The Wheeler sisters, Annaruth (guitar) & Danielle (banjo) were just two of many musicians "jamming" on Bluegrass day at the Flower Fields. Lower right: The Village Squares warm up for their Flower Field stage performance. Left to right John Maus, Guitar; BJ Maus, Wash tub Bass; Jack Holt, Guitar; Sean Cavanaugh, Banjo; Chip Hayden, Guitar.

Sandy Beesley    President of the North County Bluegrass & Folk Club also provided the above two Sunday April 8, 2006 pictures. Jamming in the gazebo Mike Tatar (banjo), Yvonne Tatar (upright bass), Phil Levy (guitar) and Kathleen McBain playing Irish jigs & reels on her accordion.
