When do the engines run?
Our engines normally only run during events, you can check out our Calendar of Events by clicking here.
When are there demonstrators?
On Saturdays we have the Blacksmiths, Weavers, Spinners, Clock & Watch Exhibit and the Model Railroad Building open. We have the Blacksmiths working at their forges between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. The Weavers and Spinners are in their respective barns between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Then the Model Railroad Building is open to tour between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Finally, our Clock & Watch Museum Exhibit in the Assembly Building is open with a docent between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The Weavers and Spinners are also in on Thursdays between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Other than that, we don't normally have demonstrators on Non Event Days.
When is the best time to bring kids?
Saturdays are usually the best day, because we have the most demonstrators those days.
Can we ride the train?
We do have a small model train on our property but it only runs for Special Events. It does not run on Non Event Days.
What if I want to bring a group (10+) to tour the Museum?
