Your Remembrance Program by George Bohn
Recognizing and Honoring Museum Members

Return to December 2007 Table of Contents

As we come to the end of the first year of “Your Remembrance Program” your Museum Board of Trustees would like to thank each of you that took the time and made a financial commitment to Honor and Remember our Museum Family.

We have had what I consider a good start for our first year of “Your Remembrance Program”. There were seventeen Honors given and five Memorials made. In total Donors have provided $2,075.00 for our Museum’s Endowment Fund. Each of the individuals Honored or Remembered along with their Donors names will be in the Memorial Book that will be on display at our January 19, 2008 Annual Membership Meeting, then available in our Museum Office.

As we approach the end of the year and look forward to our Annual Meeting I would like to ask each of you to think about those individuals that have been important to you. Please, consider Honoring or Remembering those individuals by making a donation to “Your Remembrance Program” in their name.

This can be done before the end of the year by sending the
Remembrance Donation Form to our Museum Office by the end of 2007. Also, at our Annual January Meeting I would hope that again next year a number of members would make a presentation. It would be wonderful to have members Honor other members for their commitment to our Museum.

Remember, individual members can be honored many times by different members. Have a wonderful holiday season. I hope to see all of you at our January Annual Meeting. Thank you for allowing me to serve as secretary for “Your Remembrance Program” this past year.
