Important Notice to Flower Fields Drivers and Volunteers – Help Your Museum
Bud and Barb Watson

We were short drivers and volunteers this year, due to illness, people moving away, going from driver to volunteer, etc. In 2006 we had 66 drivers and 41 volunteers, this year, 2007, we had 49 drivers and 46 volunteers. We gained 5 more volunteers, but we were still short. We need a lot more drivers and volunteers. The volume of people at the flower fields is rapidly growing. You will have a lot of fun and it is a very good moneymaker for our Museum.

Above far left, above left and above right: Volunteer Drivers and Volunteers chow down. Above far right: left to right Trustee President Jeanette Stevens and Trustee Vice President Bob Morley speak to the crowd.

Women drivers are also welcome. This year our drivers and volunteers had to work a lot more days. Driver’s must be a Member, but volunteers do not have to be a Member. Invite your wife, husband, neighbors, friends and relatives to come down and help and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the flower fields.

We would like to start Drivers School and Drivers Certification during the month of November. Please call us at so we can get your name on our list. We want to start early for 2008. If any of you certified drivers would like to help us with Drivers School and Certification, please call us, we can sure use the help.

A big thank you to Bob Morley, Dar Jewell, and volunteers for the delicious dinner they prepared for us. Teri Canfield, Richard Green, Guy Horton, Joann Horton, Forrest Horton, Channing Horton, Kurt Hostetter, Carolyn Hostetter, Bev Jewell, Ken Jewell and Valerie Myers. We had around 90 people at our dinner and it was enjoyed by all. Our President Jeanette Stevens and our Vice President Bob Morley gave very nice short speeches. Thank you two so much. Dave Carroll drew a big card for Bob Morley and had the people that came to dinner sign it. Thanks a lot for the great job you did on the card.
