The Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum
is a non-profit museum located on 55 acres of rolling farm land in Vista,
California. The Museum has a membership roster that total just over 1,000
member from all over the United States. All of the Museum events and
equipment are operated and maintained by our member volunteers.
The Museum offers five different levels of Membership:
| Lifetime Membership ($600.00) | |
| Regular Membership ($30.00) | |
| Associate Membership (15.00) | Must have a regular or lifetime member living in household to be eligible for an associate membership. |
| Student Membership (15.00) | Under the age of 23 with a valid Student ID |
| Family Membership ($50.00) |
Spouses & Dependent Children; Must all live in same household |
All memberships include 10% in the Museum gift shop, 1-year subscription to The Ignitor, free regular admission (not including special events, i.e. Harvest Fair, Civil War, Bluegrass, etc.), membership badges and invites to member only events.
The Museum also offers an Honorary Lifetime (free) membership to Members who have reached the age of 80 years old and have been a current member with the Museum for 10 years in a row.
The Museum offers two programs for members to participate in:
| The Adoption Program | The Adoption Program allows members to adopt a piece of Museum equipment to maintain and "play" with on their own time. |
| Loan Program | The Loan Program is for members who own their own equipment and would like to apply to put it on exhibit at the Museum. |
Each person needs to be approved by Museum Staff to participate in the Adoption or Loan Program.
