Wow, what a delicious dinner that was put on for our flower field drivers and volunteers. Everyone we talked to was very happy and expressed their appreciation for the dinner. A Big Thank You to Bob Morley and Dar Jewell’s crew for all their hard work, it was great.

South of the Border
Bud and Barb Watson

Well, we had our June Show and we were disappointed as there weren’t many people, but we had a lot of fun at the SOB. We had awesome Volunteers and we want to thank all of you for helping us: Marie Allee, Austin and Nancy Auger, Suzanne Bentley, Randy and Sally Car, Ed Cooley, Chuck Day, Steve Iverson, Patti MacChesney, Hugh and Gerry Mudd, Becky Reed, Frieda Rusch, Gil and Lori Stuart and Alice Swaim.

We want to thank Bob and Alice Swaim for their donations to the SOB: Chocolate Chip Cookies (they are delicious) a real nice big green rug, and thirty white towels. Also want to thank Joan and John Hollenitsch for donating a big chili pepper rug to the SOB. We appreciate the donations and it is very kind of you.

Summergrass
Bud and Barb Watson

We are looking forward to Summergrass on August 22, 23 and 24, 2008. It is usually a big show and we do very well and hope this one will be a good show too. We need Volunteers at the SOB, please call us at if you would like to Volunteer. We have a lot of fun at the SOB.

Tables and Bleachers
Bud and Barb Watson

A Big Thank You to Rudy Dremely, he power washed the tables at the Snack Shack, Sally’s Place and the SOB. I know that the SOB’s had a lot of bird do do on them and he had a real hard time getting it off. Rudy also power washed the bleachers. You should have seen Rudy when he was done, he was dirt and wet from head to toe. What a great job Rudy.

Let’s Talk Trash
Bud and Barb Watson

Richard Green that usually does our trash had open heart surgery, it was so nice to see him, but he couldn’t do too much. He looks real good for just having open heart surgery, but thanks for what you could do. We also want to thank Eric Bentley for stepping up to the plate to help Richard Green. Eric did a great job and every time you saw him he had a big smile on his face. I didn’t realize it was that much fun picking up trash. Eric, you really came to our rescue.
