WOW! Had a good time at our June Show, despite the warm temperatures. Thank you exhibitors, crafters, vendors, food service and all that participated for making it another great show. Thank you to ALL for your help, encouragement and support. It is always nice seeing and visiting with everyone again.

Again, we had a few first time displayers and some that have not been at the show in the last few years. We welcome you and look forward to seeing you again at our upcoming show in October.

I would like to extend an invitation to those not currently a member to join our membership. It is a great way to really get to know others and also support our Museum. Our Friday night Hot Dog Dinners were a huge success. What better way to start a show weekend than to spend it with friends. The hot dogs were not bad either!

Thank you to Jack Lester, Bob Morley, and Keith Richards, BBQ extraordinaires, the hot dogs were cooked to perfection and thank you too, to those helping with the chips and drinks. After dinner we enjoyed homemade ice cream that Mike Stevens made with his John Deere engine. Thank you to Dar Jewell for providing black walnuts for black walnut ice cream. It was delicious.

Summergrass (August 22nd -24th) is coming up. Please let Ashley know if you will be volunteering by August 11th.

October Show is just around the corner too. We will be celebrating 150 years of Holt. Send in your Show registration today. If you would like to volunteer to help at the shows, events, and with displays off the museum grounds, please contact me

If you are attending an event, or part of another group, stop by the office and pick up show flyers, registration and camping forms, or museum information to take with you to invite others to visit us.

You are encouraged and invited to attend our monthly board meetings. Your ideas and input are greatly appreciated. If you would like to address the Board of Trustees on a matter that concerns you, or plan an event at the museum, etc., please contact me or Museum Director, Rod Groenewold at at least ten (10) days prior to the next scheduled board meeting to be placed on the agenda. Thank you again for your and participation to continue the successful ways of our Museum.
