I just got off the phone with Dave at the boiler shop. Our Road Roller is ready to be picked up and returned to
the Museum! The State inspector has signed off on all of the repairs and a pressure test was performed as the last two steps.
Robert will pick up the Road Roller and bring it back to the Museum as soon as he gets time to do it. Robert
works for the power company and has been working 36-hour shifts trying to keep the power turned on for us
all during this heat wave.
It was hot all over!
The steam team was out splitting wood to feed our hungry
boilers for the October show on one of those hot days. It was like this, Work a while, go sit in the shade a
while, work a while, go sit in the shade a while. By the time we were done we were beat! Show is coming up
soon, we will see everyone then!
