BBQ Pit
Dar Jewell Hello again from the Pit. I have a lot of people to thank this time. First a great big thank you to Terry Lupold and Craig Fredrickson. Knowing I had my hand and shoulder operated on and no way to get the Pit ready for Show, they came down from Lakewood just to put up the awning and ready the BBQ'S and make the outside ready to open.

The next week-end Hal Jewell came down and cleaned and made the inside ready to open, thank you Hal.

We had a decent Show as far as the Pit goes. Our food salesman Frosty Hansen gave up his Saturdays to come in and slice meat so I could rest my arm. Come to think of it, I seem to have the whole place watching me to see that I did not work. Especially Bob Morley who watched me like a hawk.

Now, a great big thank you to all of our volunteers who really do all the work and deserve the credit. Thank you to Hal Jewell, Sandy Jewell, Bev Jewell, Ken Jewell, Frosty Hansen, Sue Fredrickson, Sally Harbert, Mary Jane Teisworth, Dave Carroll, Bob Morley, Terry Lupold, Marilyn Lupold, Nina Durst, Cheryl Durst, Lou Schweizer, Rick Phillips and Tracy Phillips.

And a Thank You to all those who cared enough to stop by and find out how I was doing.

Boy Scouts
Dar Jewell Well folks, the Boy Scouts have done it for us again. The Weavers were in need of shelves to store their supplies and up stepped Eagle Scout Candidate Stephen Hansink.

He and his help constructed and installed a really nice group of shelves. You all will have to stop by and see the great job they did.

We owe a big thank you to Stephen and his helpers and also to the Boy Scout organization for all they do for us.
